Congratulations Teresa Malone, MNA Executive Director, on being named a 2021 Top CEO by the Mississippi Business Journal!

The Mississippi Nurses Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the $1000 MNF School of Nursing Scholarship for 2021. Each student is selected by their nursing school leadership based on academic excellence, leadership abilities and community involvement. Some schools opt to award 2 students at $500 each. The scholarship is funded through our Nurses Touch Lives Car Tag Program.

The 2021 Brick Garden Ceremony held on May 8, 2021 was such a special event. Bricks were engraved and placed in the Mary E. Stainton Brick Garden by families and friends to remember and honor nurses during Nurses Week. Thank you again to every one that made this event so memorable. Special thanks to our guest speaker, Dr. Barbara H. Johnson, and our sponsor, Dr. Kaye Bender.

Congratulations to the 2021 recipient of the $1000 Martha Douglas Memorial Scholarship, Vanessa Stone. Vanessa is a nursing student at William Carey University. The scholarship is funded by the Mississippi School Nurse Association.

MNF is proud to announce the two recipients of the $500 Oneita Dongieux Award for Excellence! Congratulations to Abbey Climer, nursing student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and to Eli Brand, nursing student at the University of Southern Mississippi.
