***IMPORTANT VISITOR POLICY UPDATE*** To continue prioritizing the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff, MRHC has implemented a revised visitation policy that allows for adjustments based on the number of COVID-19 cases in the community, according to state and county public health data. The below policies are in place for everyone, including those who have gotten a COVID-19 vaccine.... Effective Monday, May 24, two (2) dedicated visitors will be allowed per patient for the duration of the visit. Visitors are to be selected and identified by the patient at the beginning of the hospital stay. Only 1 of the 2 dedicated visitors will be allowed with the patient at a time. A change out period will happen twice per day. During this change out period, the two dedicated visitors can determine who will remain with the patient. The change out times are listed below: 6 am 8 am 6 pm 8 pm Children under the age of 18 are not permitted at this time. Inpatients: Two designated visitors per day. Only one visitor allowed with the patient at a time. Exceptions will only be made for end-of-life circumstances. Critical Care Unit (CCU): Two designated visitors per day. Only one visitor allowed with the patient at a time. Must adhere to critical care guidelines for visitation. Exceptions will only be made for end-of-life circumstances. If your eye is itchy, swollen and a bright shade of pink, you may have an eye infection. Eye infections occur when harmful bacteria, fungi or viruses enter one or both eyes. They can also occur from exposure to allergens, chemicals and pollution, or after having a foreign object such as an eyelash, cosmetics or sawdust lodged in the eye. #MagnoliaMatters

Each year, MRHC considers it a privilege to provide complimentary athletic physicals to the students in our community. This event typically takes place at the Crossroads Arena, but this year, because of COVID, we had to get creative. Thanks to the efforts of MRHC staff and participating school administrators, we were able to set up at various regional schools to perform athletic physicals. We provided over 750 physicals over the last three weeks at Biggersville, Tishomingo County, Kossuth, Corinth, and Alcorn Central. We are proud to serve our community and appreciate the opportunity to work with the schools to ensure the students’ continued good health and safety! #MagnoliaMatters
