Everyone was thrilled to be #TogetherAtJA for Lower School Field Day this year! The intensity of the competition could be heard across campus throughout the morning as students in K5 through fourth grade competed in games like the javelin throw relay and the sack race. Everyone had a fun time practicing teamwork, cheering at the top of their lungs, and good sportsmanship. Go Raiders!

Experience the magic of theatre and the beauty of nature together this weekend! Tonight, Jackson Academy Theatre presents the opening performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night! Performances are held outdoors in the JA Amphitheater, with Chunky Dunks Sweets Truck providing concessions. This morning, five Jackson Academy #ClassOf21 students formally accepted scholarships to attend Mississippi College at an Academic Signing Day held during break. MC President Dr. Blake Thompson and Admission Counselor Hannah Richards presented the awards. After the presentation, Dr. Thompson gathered with parents to pray over the students in true MC fashion. Join the Theatre Department for JA's first-ever Shakespeare in the Amphitheatre this weekend, April 16-18, for their production of Twelfth Night. Twelfth Night is a fast-paced romantic comedy with several interwoven plots of romance, mistaken identities, and practical jokes. There will be two sections - premium and regular, but within the sections, no seats are reserved. Tickets are $15 for premium seating ($10 for faculty/staff/students) and $10 for regular seating ($5 for faculty/staff/students).
