I once had a little girl that loved horses. I always loved horses but I never had one til I was grown. I never really rode. She did what I never did. Her daddy bought a farm and a couple of horses and then a pony for his little girl. The little girl grew and the pony did not so the little girl rode some of the horses here and did quite well at shows. The little girl grew and those horses did not. Her daddy bought her an OTTB. This OTTB likes to compete some times and some ti...mes he likes to chill. But the now not so little girl had her eye on a little filly growing up in the pasture... this filly kept growing along with the growing girl. The filly grew big and strong and became a lovely mare. Before this mama and daddy knew what was happening the little girl became a young woman and the little filly a young mare. Bec was built because of this little girl. We've had so many other little girls and some boys too, learn to ride and play with horses here. We have made so many horsey friends and so many pony pals. We have been entrusted with the lives of so many wonderful horses and ponies. I've been able to live so many dreams and it's all because of that little girl. She will be graduating from high school soon and moving to Memphis to attend The University of Memphis. We are so proud of her. Usually the profile picture and cover picture feature our students but for just this little while we are featuring Chandler and her mare Cadence. Both born and bred at BEC. Special thanks to Blake McCollum for his awesome photographs. We highly recommend him #morethanbreath See more

Thank goodness Cedarwind Farm had a rope. This is how it always felt like it could happen. Libby Ty Bauer
