Mt. Pleasant Fire Dept

A day after making a happy post about the fire department i must make a heartbreaking one. This morning we lost longtime Fire Chief Ivy Wayne Teel. He was on the Department for 39 years. Chief Teel was a staple in the fire service in Marshall County, and in the Slayden, Mt.Pleasant community. We can contribute what we have to him from the current building to our equipment. If there was a call you would always see Chief Teel there. I had the honor of serving as his Assistant Chief and as a fireman under him. Please keep the family and also his fire family in you prayers suring this difficult time. He is one that will never be replaced. Thank you for your service to Marshall County Chief.

There will be a Mt. Pleasant Fire Dept meeting tomorrow night at 7 for anyone interested in becoming a member.
