Central Mississippi Archery

Due to the rain saturday that forced us to reschedule our qualifier to sunday Central Mississippi Archery has rescheduled our may 21 qualifier to saturday July 8. This will allow those that were unable to participate in the shoot sunday to be able to shoot in a qualifier at our range. The may 21 shoot will now be a club shoot.

CMA is hosting a Tri-state qualifier today for MS, AL, and LA. The range is in great shape with just a few damp spots on the shooting trail. Low boots is all that should be needed. I walked it this morning in tennis shoes but had to skirt a couple spots. The path leading in to the woods has standing water in one spot but we put a piece of decking over it. The ground around it is still wet as seen in the picture. Registration will begin at 9 but we are here now if you want to come earlier. Hope to see you all here today.

Due to the song chance of rain and bad weather tomorrow Central Mississippi Archery has decided to reschedule our Tri-State qualifier for next day, sunday the 26th. I know that this may cause some to not be able to participate due to church or other prior commitments but there is not a day that we can reschedule it for that will not be in conflict with another major shoot. We will be open for registration from 9-2 to allow as many people to shoot as possible. All score cards must be turned in by 6. I will be at the range early Sunday and do a walk through to make sure everything is still in good shape and I will give an update on range conditions.

Here is the schedule for the 2017 season February 25 club shoot March 25 ASA Tri-State qualifier (MS/LA/AL)... April 22,23 Warrior Bonfire Benefit Shoot at Camp Down Range May 21 ASA Tri-state qualifier (MS/LA/AL) **Sunday shoot June 11 club shoot **Sunday shoot July 29 club shoot August 19 club shoot Registration for each shoot will be 8 to 1. Snacks and drinks will be available at each shoot. Details for the April 22,23 Bonfire Benefit Shoot will be posted in the near future. Registration times may be different for this shoot. All Proceeds from this shoot will be donated to the Warrior Bonfire Program. We hope to see everyone out there this season. I will be posting a list of shooting classes that we will be supporting at our club shoots in the next couple of weeks. We have 3 memberships available this year. 1 - Club membership. This membership gives the member a $5. discount on shooting fees at our club throughout the season. The cost is $25 2 - Individual ASA and Club Membership. This membership will include an Individual ASA Membership as well as the club membership discount. The cost is $55 3 - Family ASA Membership and club membership. This membership includes the ASA Family membership and club membership discount for the primary ASA Member. The cost is $70. Both of the ASA Memberships include their respective ASA Memberships and a discounted club membership. As always, all proceeds from our shoots and memberships are donated to the Methodist Children's Home. Donations to the Children's Home are always accepted and appreciated.
